My Brother was seen there , and I can say I had a good experience there. The Nurses were very kind and always kept me updated on my brother. I recommend this place if you or your loved one needs help. Thank you all God bless 🙏

I had a good experience here. Most of the staff were nice. Daniel, one of the newer therapists, is honestly the best part of this place. He runs groups and also does one-on-one therapy. He helps people worry less by using the idea of an upward spiral vs a downward spiral, and asks practical questions like how long we actually want to worry about something and whether the worry makes sense for that amount of time. He also does something called “check the facts,” where we break down an activating event, how it made us feel, the thoughts we had, the interpretations and stories we told ourselves, and the roles we placed on ourselves and others. Then we look at what actually happened versus our interpretation, decide how we want to feel, what need would be met by feeling that way, and then check in with our feelings again afterward. He also talks a lot about noticing emotions in the body, which was really helpful. We were invited to the gym and rec room daily. The gym had basketball, ping pong, bowling, tennis, exercise equipment, and more. The rec room had paint, coloring pages, word searches, nail polish, and bracelet making. This clinic needs to be investigated and shut down. The head nurse said it’s a business, they do as they please. Everyone in this clinic is for the money, false reports and insurance claims. They strip you of everything and get so upset that you need to use their products (like toothpaste and napkins). I had family bring me items and the nurses kept them. When my sister asked about my products they claimed I had nothing when I went in: mind you my sister was the one who brought the items in.

My boyfriend recently got out of there and some how he felt more lost in their then outside. He came in there for help in order to help fix his depression and he came out shook from what he experienced. Nurses were no help whatsoever. The male Caucasian nurse that has a bald spot has no patience and should not be in a field where people are looking for help at their lowest. This place is dehumanizing and I do not recommend anyone to go here to seek help. No nurse is there to do their job, they talk about patients and make fun of their situations behind their back. All they care about is numbing the patient with meds.

I've chosen my anonymous account due to the fact I have no trust for this facility nor its web moderation. I had the biggest mistake of my life and was placed in involuntary. Furthermore, I was placed in the high level. Unit 4 and had never experienced anything like this. These places are extremely depressing and do not help with mental health. Not good feeling like u have no rights and if you're angry u cant leave u will get a shot and drugged and forced to stay longer. Luckily, I am fully recovered and mentally sane to relax and talk my way out of there. but they did extend me an extra day, and nothing is worse than feeling like you're never going to leave a crazy place. If u end up in one of these places, it will be the worst experience of your life. Mental health facilities like these are not the answer. they say if you're sad and crying, that's a sign u could hurt yourself, and then they could force u to take medication and extend your stay. that's how they get u. It's supposed to be about improving your mental health, but u can't experience emotions without getting drugged and forced to stay in the place that will make u go crazy. the gowns are also very demoralizing.
